Lucy Atherton is a former BBC TV and ITV television and radio news correspondent, now working as a PR, copywriter and social media journalist. After leaving the BBC, Lucy worked for Sinclaire Knight Marketing, managing social media accounts for businesses ranging from industrial manufacturers, restaurants and corporate venues, to food producers and schools. She is now running her own company, whilst working as a consultant and media trainer on various education projects.

Lucy has advised a variety of businesses in the west country and run public relations campaigns for large organisations, including the Ministry of Cake and the Richard Huish Academy Trust. She also offers copy writing and proof reading for blogs, web content, newsletters, magazine articles, press releases and marketing materials.
